Hotels and self catering apartments, studios and holiday homes in Elounda : The evocative and sun blessed resort of Elounda offers a host of options for the visitor when it comes to accommodation. You can find any level of pampering from standard hotel rooms right up to VIP luxury suites, plus self catering studios and apartments, modern five star resort based bungalows, villas and renovated traditional properties. Accommodation may be very close to the centre or located in the quieter outskirts, including houses in the smaller villages which make up the wider Elounda area.
Hotels : The visitor has a full choice, from budget basic to 5 star plus. The luxury hotels are mainly concentrated on the Mirabello Bay side of the canal, although the recent Blue Palace Resort and Spa opposite Spinalonga island and close to the village of Plaka is an obvious exception.
Apartments : Holiday Apartments tend to be in smaller developments in this part of Crete with few very large blocks. One bedroom studios and apartments capable of accommodating three or four person families are standard and the visitor will find many available in and around Elounda
