When the sun has gone down then the parties begin in Elounda. The centre of the resort is large enough to sustain many popular modern bars. The main street and area round the harbour will see the brightest lights and well visited nightspots. You will find dancing at disco bars, bars with big screens for sports, chic cosmopolitan surroundings, the easy life on the square and more. The smaller villages offer the kafenion and ouzeria where you can relax in authentic, atmospheric surroundings with a Greek coffee, bottle of beer or a glass of Retsina, Raki or Ouzo.
Most central bars offer light meals during the day and relaxing outdoor areas where you can enjoy them in the shade. Some of Elounda's apartment blocks also have pool bars where you can enjoy a cool soda, a sunbed and a snack, including the Olive Grove, Manos and Vasilis apartments.
