Pano Elounda

Pano Elounda literally means 'High Elounda' and, as the name suggests, it sits in an elevated position looking out to sea from above today's main shopping area (Schisma) located on the edge of the bay. In years gone by Pano Elounda was in fact a main residential area, although it is now popular with holiday home owners from outside Greece and expat residents who have set up home here.
