Elounda77 and MakeItGreece board users' meetup at the OGA

Meet up at the OGA (Olive Grove Apartments) Bar on the evening of the 5th August for a few drinks, catch up and a chat. As usual, all the Elounda forum and MakeItGreece.net message board users, site readers, Elounda visitors, locals and anyone else most welcome to come along and join us. The OGA bar is open to non-residents and is located close to the church in the centre of the village. Meeting up at around 22.30hrs.

Follow-up report

Well, the power cut kicked in just before we were due to meeet up but that didn't stop some of the board's users getting together in the darkness. Manos did a star job behind the bar, big cheers to Darren and family and Ann's crowd from the online world. A minor miracle nobody ended up stepping into the pool! An evening made even more eventful by the scare over the small fire to the rear of one of the harbour restaurants but sure we were all glad to quickly know that everyone was safe and damage limited. With the power not coming back on until after 1, and faltering until the morn, the meet up was early and small but definitely a memorable evening. D, your mag-lite and ipod were welcomed by everyone I'm sure. Cheers to each and all :-)
