'A Night of Global Grooves' at The Pine Tree, Plaka - Friday 16th May 2008

The evening of Friday 16th May saw 'A Night of Global Grooves @ Pevko' down at The Pine Tree (Pevko) in Plaka. The crowd was treated to a great performance set from Mike Dread (MC / live music) and DJ Sam, aka The D.D.C. or Digital Dread Corporation. The garden was packed to capacity and the night went off brilliantly. A quick show of hands proved that not only was it music from around the world but an audience from around the world too. Holiday makers and local residents of all nationalities were there, including Greek, English, Dutch, German, French, Belgian and Bulgarian contingents. Definitely a night to remember for the D.D.C. and anyone who had the good fortune to be there in the crowd.
